My University My Pride

My University-My Pride is a joint initiative by Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA), Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University & Prayas Youth Foundation to increase positive-ness in students through plantation.

Vice chancellor Dr. B.A. Chopade inaugurated this project. The objective of project is to create a positive view in students minds by planting tree in BAMU and other affiliated colleges.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) is located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. It is named after Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, an Indian jurist, political leader, academic and the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. The university was established on 23 August 1958. This university has contributed to the progress of adjoining regions and people in innumerable ways. Since its inception, the university has around 404 colleges affiliated to it, which come under four districts (Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad) of Maharashtra State. The student population exceeds 4,44,336. This university develops lots of professionals which they are playing important role at National and International level.

Plants are providing oxygen and beautiful surrounding and Positive energy for students. This initiative is for spreading awareness about our environment and actual plantation on university campus as well as all 404 affiliated college of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
