Swachh has undertaken an Urban Afforestation Project in partnership with Centre for Environment Research and Education and IndusInd Bank, with a view to increase the green cover by growing indigenous fruiting and non-fruiting tree species in all available open space both private and public so as to improve the urban environment, augment local flora and fauna, sequester carbon and improve the micro- climate. This forest was inaugurated by District Collector Mr. Sunil Chavan and it showcases excellent biodiversity.
