Prayas is founded by citizens who have commitment to constitutional obligation of conversing biodiversity. It is hard to take the deteriorating life quality and adverse impacts of climate change these days. Specifically in urban fabric, the decreasing green cover and increasing concrete jungles are creating a fuss in our lives that we are not realising right now. Often people have a vision and goal to work but don’t have the resources. Even our Government is trying to encourage such initiatives and bringing up policies and relaxations which promote ecology building and conservation.
Over the past few decades, expectations on corporate behaviour have continued to rise alongside greater public awareness around human rights, environmental protection and other issues. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a mechanism by which companies hold themselves to a set of legal, ethical, social and ecological standards. CSR is not charity or mere donations. CSR is a way of conducting business, by which corporate entities visibly contribute to the social good.
Corporate companies can invest a larger amount of fund under CSR which can be a catalyst in improving the living quality of the city. We believe that collaborative measures are key to quick results. Thus, we urge to collaborate with corporate companies for creating forests and breathing lungs for the city of greater scale and volume.
