This forest was created in August 2019 at company premises of Greaves cotton limited located at chikalthana MIDC Aurangabad. Company supported the Project under their CSR activity program. Water scarcity was also a huge issue for the GCL, we planned and collected the water at a place and created two huge water ponds here of capacity 35 Lac ltr and 15 Lac ltr. Making it total as 50 Lac Ltr. promote water conservation. The company used to buy water in in summer now they have become water surplus. Two water bodies and a well recharge system helped the plant to save all the water running off the plant. It has saved more than 1 crore lite each year. 1500 Trees have been planted and survived till now.
