Porject Oxygen Hub – Waluj MIDC

Project oxygen hub is Maharashtra`s biggest native urban and manmade forest created in 5+ acres with 75,000 indigenous trees situated at Waluj MIDC, Aurangabad Maharashtra which is jointly funded by United Breweries Ltd. and CANPACK INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED under their CSR initiatives.
It includes many medicinal plants, flowering plants, Fruit Bearing plants and also some rare indigenous plants which are about to extinct. Also certain amenities like benches, gazebo, bird house, water pond etc. were installed. . Drip Irrigation system was installed since primary stage to ensure efficient use of water. In this project, A pond of capacity 5lakh liter’s of water was installed to make project self-sufficient and as a measure to deal with future risks. Along with it, a trench 500ft long was made to channelize rainwater against the site contour. Within the period of one year of Project Oxygen Hub, Biodiversity can be seen in the area and the project is continuously getting developed as an ideal place for hundreds of birds, butterflies, insects, reptiles and many living organism
